Although I am not coloured I understand what you say and I fully agree. My parents migrated from Croatia to Germany before I was born, so I grew up in between two cultures.

My name is very unusual in Germany and in the time I was married, my then-name was even more strange to German ears.

My name always marked me an alien.

But it was always only a little part of me.

That attribute of you, the colour of the skin, is only a micro-feature of your personality and your humanness.
